Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Jane Street is seeking an energetic and driven Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join its growing Legal team in London. This newly created role offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments, including Engineering, Facilities, and Procurement, providing strategic advice and risk management support within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, such as office and data centre leases, master services agreements, professional services and consulting agreements, and licence agreements. Additionally, the role involves supporting commercial contracts and procurement processes, advising market data, technology, and other infrastructure teams, and addressing day-to-day contract issues across Jane Street's global offices.

Applicants should have 8-12 years of experience in commercial contracts, including expertise in commercial real estate leases, construction fit-out projects, data centres, and technology and professional services. A qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales, in good standing with the Solicitors Regulation Authority, is required. Strong writing and communication skills, proficiency in incorporating AI into legal practices, and experience working with engineering and procurement teams are also essential.
