Bloomreach is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join its Legal Team, focusing on contract negotiation, management, and data privacy initiatives. This role involves supporting the company's commercial legal requirements in the U.S., including managing and negotiating sales and sales-related agreements such as SaaS Master Services Agreements and software license agreements. The position reports to the Head of Commercial and collaborates closely with various internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include serving as the legal point of contact for customer and vendor contracts, drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements, advising on contract status and legal risks, reviewing and revising commercial and vendor agreements, contributing to the development of standard form agreements, and participating in privacy initiatives. The role also involves providing legal support to internal teams, researching legal issues, offering training on legal topics, and managing outside counsel as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a J.D. with excellent academic credentials, is a member in good standing of a state bar association, and possesses 4-8 years of commercial transactional legal experience with emerging growth technology companies. Experience should include structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex software licensing and other commercial agreements. Strong drafting and negotiating skills, the ability to work independently, and flexibility in handling various tasks are essential.
