Privacy & AI Compliance Specialist
Bloomreach is seeking a Privacy & AI Compliance Specialist to join its Legal team. This role involves ensuring that Bloomreach's products, vendor relationships, and internal processes comply with applicable privacy and AI regulatory obligations. The specialist will work closely with internal stakeholders to integrate privacy and responsible AI principles into product development and business operations.
Key responsibilities include embedding privacy into product development by partnering with product and engineering teams to assess new features for privacy and AI-related risks. The role also involves advising on global privacy and AI compliance, overseeing vendors and third parties, supporting audits and governance programs, handling data subject rights and requests, monitoring regulatory developments, and collaborating cross-functionally to translate complex legal and technical requirements into pragmatic solutions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in privacy, data protection, or compliance roles, preferably within a SaaS, technology, or product-focused organization. A strong working knowledge of EU data protection laws, including GDPR and UK GDPR, is required, along with familiarity with global privacy frameworks such as CCPA. The candidate should possess strong analytical and organizational skills, clear and precise communication abilities, and experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, international environments.
