Commercial Counsel, EMEA
Vercel is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join its dynamic Legal team in London. This role involves close collaboration with Sales, Partnerships, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to negotiate commercial contracts with customers, vendors, and partners. Key responsibilities include serving as a primary legal contact for go-to-market and procurement deals across EMEA, independently managing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, and partnering with cross-functional teams to design and improve scalable contracting processes. The role also involves drafting and maintaining agreement templates, advising on regional expansion strategies, utilizing AI tools to enhance workflows, and contributing to other legal initiatives as needed.
The ideal candidate is qualified and in good standing in England and Wales, with over 10 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years of in-house commercial experience at a technology company. A strong understanding of GDPR and related privacy regulations, familiarity with AI and cloud-based services, and demonstrated skill in using AI to build tools and processes are essential. Excellent judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple fast-moving workstreams are also required.

The London base pay range for this role is £120,000 - £135,000 GBP, with actual salary depending on qualifications and experience.
