In this role, the Commercial Counsel will independently draft, review, and negotiate various advertising-related agreements, including insertion orders, media, strategic partnership, sponsorship, and non-disclosure agreements. The position requires leading negotiation calls with customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Deal Desk, Sales, Finance, and Product to ensure that sales transactions align with internal corporate policies and processes. Additionally, the role involves acting as a business partner to the marketing sales teams throughout the customer lifecycle, driving internal projects to optimize contract negotiation and management services, and providing support to senior attorneys as needed.

Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and have at least three years of experience practicing as an attorney, with a minimum of two years in online or digital advertising transactions (Ad-Tech). Preferred qualifications include experience negotiating the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) standard terms and conditions, a proficient understanding of global data privacy and security frameworks, and the ability to manage various deals and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship-building skills across various disciplines and seniority levels are essential, along with exceptional customer service and sound business judgment.

The compensation for this role ranges from $123,000 to $200,000 annually, with actual packages based on factors such as skill set, experience, and office location. Additional components of the total compensation package may include an annual performance bonus, stock options, benefits, and other applicable incentive plans.
