Compliance Manager (Crypto Exchange/ Licensing)

The Compliance Manager will oversee license applications, implementation, and maintenance across major global jurisdictions. This role involves leading license strategy projects from inception and collaborating with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance. The position is based in Hong Kong, working within a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining regulatory standards in the crypto exchange sector.

Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end process of license applications, developing and executing licensing strategies, and maintaining ongoing compliance. The Compliance Manager will liaise with regulatory bodies, submit necessary documentation, respond to inquiries, and monitor regulatory policies to provide compliance advice and risk alerts. Collaboration with legal, risk, product, and other teams is essential to drive compliance implementation.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or higher and have 1–3 years of experience in compliance or licensing within crypto exchanges or fintech. Successful license implementation experience in jurisdictions such as Seychelles, India, UK, Bermuda, or under MiCA (EU) is required, with a preference for experience in multiple regions. Proven experience in major license implementations, regulatory engagement, and strong communication and project management skills are essential. Proficiency in English and knowledge of the crypto industry ecosystem and regulatory trends are also required.
