Legal Counsel (Blockchain Payment)

Hyphen Connect, a US-based fintech startup specializing in cross-border blockchain payments, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team in Taiwan. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's compliance with evolving financial regulations and supporting its mission to innovate in the blockchain payment sector.

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts related to cross-border blockchain payments, monitoring and analyzing regulatory changes—including those from the SEC and MiCA—and providing legal advice on fintech and cryptocurrency law matters. Collaboration with internal teams to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and conducting legal research to stay informed on industry trends are also key aspects of the role.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and have a minimum of four years of experience in fintech or cryptocurrency law. A strong understanding of SEC and MiCA regulations, excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential qualifications.
