VP of Compliance (Stablecoin/ Payment)

The Vice President of Compliance will serve as the primary expert on stablecoins, digital payment token regulations, cross-border transfer rules, the Travel Rule, and technology risk requirements. This role is based in Singapore, with Employment Pass sponsorship available if required.

Key responsibilities include translating complex Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations into actionable policies and controls for product, technology, and operations teams. The VP will oversee daily compliance functions such as transaction monitoring, wallet screening, sanctions screening, market surveillance, customer asset protection, and partner due diligence. Additionally, the role involves managing the relationship with MAS, including inspections, regulatory reporting, license applications or amendments, and incident handling.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience within the payments, cryptocurrency, or fintech compliance sectors. A deep understanding of the MAS Payment Services Act, digital payment token rules, the Travel Rule, Technology Risk Management Guidelines, and customer asset safeguards is essential. Preferred qualifications include IBF Level 2, ACAMS, or International Compliance Association certification, with additional certifications such as CAMS, CGSS, or CISSP considered advantageous. Hands-on experience with blockchain analytics and on-chain screening tools is also required.
