Compliance Officer

Metabit Technology LLC is seeking a Compliance Officer to lead its compliance function in Singapore. This role involves overseeing regulatory compliance, developing policies and procedures, and ensuring adherence to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) licensing requirements. The Compliance Officer will collaborate closely with the General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer to maintain the firm's compliance posture and support its global operations.

Key responsibilities include serving as the designated compliance function head under MAS licensing requirements, leading the development and maintenance of compliance policies, acting as the primary liaison with MAS, and reviewing new activities from a regulatory perspective. The role also encompasses designing and operating trading surveillance systems, administering personal account dealing frameworks, overseeing the AML/CFT framework, and collaborating with regional compliance teams on cross-border matters.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Risk, or a related discipline, with at least seven years of compliance experience, including over three years at a MAS-licensed fund management company. Eligibility to serve as the MAS-designated compliance function head is required, along with strong knowledge of the Securities and Futures Act, MAS LFMC guidelines, AML/CFT notices, and market conduct standards. Professional proficiency in English is essential, and Mandarin is preferred due to the regional operating environment. Singapore residency is required, or a willingness to relocate with work authorization.
