Consultant – OTC Sales Processing & Reporting (2 year contract)
Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a Consultant for OTC Sales Processing & Reporting on a two-year contract basis. This role is part of the Global Finance Shared Service Center, which supports the company's core financial operations worldwide. The team ensures timely payments to suppliers and artists, collaborating closely with local finance teams to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations.
The Consultant will be responsible for reviewing, auditing, and processing global sales reports to ensure compliance with contractual terms. Key duties include analyzing sales data for accuracy, reconciling clearing accounts monthly, and coordinating invoicing processes across multiple territories. The role also involves identifying and resolving discrepancies in sales data and implementing business process improvements.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and have at least two years of relevant work experience, preferably in the music or entertainment industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP, Royalty Systems, or Sales Systems are advantageous. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential. The position requires working US shift hours from 4:30 pm to 1:30 am.
