Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating government contracts, subcontracts, amendments, and statements of work. The manager analyzes contract terms, identifies risks, and proposes mitigation strategies aligned with company standards. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining contract templates, playbooks, clause libraries, and negotiation frameworks to enhance efficiency. Leveraging contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and workflow tools, the manager streamlines contract intake, review, and approval processes, and designs AI-enabled workflows to improve contract drafting and analysis.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with over five years of experience in government contracting, including RFPs and contract negotiation. Strong knowledge of state and local procurement regulations, experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts, and proficiency with CLM systems and workflow tools are essential. Familiarity with legal AI tools, such as Harvey AI, and the ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into scalable processes are also required. Strong organizational and time management skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, are crucial for success in this role.
