Verra Mobility is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the strategic delivery of several high-impact, innovative software programs aligned with Verra Mobility’s T2 business. These critical initiatives involve the development of new software platforms as well as feature expansion of existing platforms and customers on existing technology. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of driving complex programs across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments. This role is situated in a center of excellence structure within the Verra Mobility Program Management Office.

The Program Manager will lead the overall program planning, execution, governance, and delivery of a transformative software platform. Responsibilities include defining and driving program roadmaps, aligning milestones across engineering, product, client services, and executive leadership. The role involves overseeing multiple concurrent workstreams, including platform development, integration, quality assurance, and client onboarding/migration. Acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, the Program Manager will provide transparent updates on scope, status, risk, and milestones. Engagement with key client implementation managers to plan and manage migrations, ensuring minimal disruption and high satisfaction, is also a key aspect of the role.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of progressive program/project management experience, with proven success in leading large-scale software platform initiatives involving new development and legacy system migrations. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive-level reporting, are essential. A strong understanding of software development lifecycles, including agile, scrum, and scaled agile methodologies, is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is necessary, with PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications preferred. Experience managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations is a plus. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to influence and lead in a matrixed organization and possess strategic thinking with an eye for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
