The Director of Operational Excellence & Service Transformation at Verra Mobility leads enterprise-wide initiatives to ensure reliable, scalable service delivery. This role embeds Lean principles and continuous improvement across commercial and operational value streams, partnering with operations, technology, product teams, and external stakeholders to enhance customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth through disciplined execution and data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities include leading strategies for consistent, high-quality service delivery through repeatable, measurable, and process-driven approaches. The director ensures operational reliability across customer-facing and transactional services, coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes on time, and influences service expansion strategies, operational readiness, and scalable delivery models. Additionally, the role drives Lean transformation initiatives, establishes governance frameworks, leads value stream mapping, and promotes a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in business, operations, information systems, or a related field, with a master's degree preferred. They possess over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in service delivery, operations, or business process improvement, and have extensive experience leading Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence initiatives. Expertise in Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Visual Management, Standard Work, and problem-solving frameworks is essential. Strong analytical, facilitation, and change leadership skills, along with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives and deliver measurable business results, are also required. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is preferred.
