Armada is seeking a Controls Integration Engineer to lead the development and implementation of control systems for their Modular Data Centers. This role is pivotal in ensuring the operability and integration of various packaged equipment and site systems, contributing to Armada's mission of delivering compute, connectivity, and sovereign AI/ML solutions to remote locations worldwide.

The Controls Integration Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive control packages, including points lists, alarm matrices, sequences of operation, and trend/log requirements. They will define setpoints, modes, permissives, and operational states to ensure consistent behavior across different variants. Additionally, the role involves designing integration approaches for packaged equipment and site systems using standard control protocols, standardizing naming conventions and data models, and managing the controls interface baseline.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering within mission-critical or industrial systems. They must demonstrate expertise in integrating packaged equipment controls into cohesive systems and have a strong ability to translate mechanical intent into testable logic. Experience with alarm rationalization, commissioning, and startup support is essential, along with a solid understanding of controls networking and integration fundamentals.

The position offers a competitive base salary, with Tier 1 locations (e.g., San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, Seattle) ranging from $130,820 to $163,530, and Tier 2 locations (most U.S. metro areas) ranging from $113,760 to $142,200. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, scope, and level.
