In this role, the Corporate Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of services agreements related to manufacturing operations. Additionally, the counsel will interpret evolving U.S. laws and regulations, providing practical application advice, and communicate legal concepts clearly to cross-functional partners. The role also involves supporting various stages of manufacturing facility transactions, including legal due diligence, coordinating with cross-functional teams on operational readiness, and providing post-close integration support to align acquired facilities with company standards, contracts, and compliance frameworks.

Candidates for this position should possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in the job location. A minimum of 1 year of relevant legal experience is required, with preference given to those with in-house or healthcare compliance experience. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of legal experience, exposure to biopharma, healthcare, or life sciences compliance topics, and strong legal writing, research, and communication skills. An interest in growing a legal career within a complex, global organization is also desirable.

The compensation for this role ranges from $141,500 to $268,500 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is eligible to participate in AbbVie's long-term incentive programs.
