In this role, the Corporate Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of services agreements related to manufacturing operations. They will collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess legal risks and support ethical, compliant business decisions. Additionally, the counsel will interpret evolving U.S. laws and regulations, providing practical application advice, and communicate legal concepts clearly to cross-functional partners. The role also involves supporting various stages of manufacturing facility transactions, including legal due diligence, coordinating with cross-functional teams on operational readiness, and providing post-close integration support to align acquired facilities with company standards, contracts, and compliance frameworks.
Candidates for this position should possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in the job location. A minimum of 1 year of relevant legal experience is required, with preference given to those with in-house or healthcare compliance experience. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of legal experience, exposure to biopharma, healthcare, or life sciences compliance topics, and strong legal writing, research, and communication skills. An interest in growing a legal career within a complex, global organization is also desirable.
The compensation for this role ranges from $141,500 to $268,500 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
