Corporate Credit Funds Research Senior Analyst (NY)
KBRA is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Corporate Credit Funds Group, a team dedicated to producing data-driven research on the private credit ecosystem. This role involves leveraging KBRA's proprietary data to generate credit insights for investors, issuers, and internal stakeholders.
The Senior Analyst will collaborate with sector experts to develop research utilizing extensive proprietary data, including financial statements and credit agreements from over 5,300 sponsor-backed middle market companies. Responsibilities include analyzing collateralized loan obligations and related structured products, participating in diligence meetings with fund management teams, tracking defaults and recoveries, and writing quarterly reports on corporate and structured credit topics.
Candidates should possess a strong curiosity about private markets and credit, with a demonstrated ability to learn. Attention to detail and proficiency in collecting, cleaning, normalizing, and analyzing datasets are essential. Strong Excel skills, including chart building and pivot tables, are required. A bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in credit, research, investing, or structured finance are necessary. Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and coding skills are advantageous.
The anticipated annual base salary for this full-time position ranges from $85,000 to $105,000, depending on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
