Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC (KBRA) is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join its growing Corporate Ratings team in New York. This role focuses on credit ratings and research across various sectors, including aviation, shipping, rail, and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). KBRA is a full-service credit rating agency registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization (NRSRO).

The successful candidate will analyze financial statements of companies, prepare committee memos, research reports, and supporting analytical materials, and assist senior analysts in the rating process and research efforts. Responsibilities also include presenting rating recommendations in rating committees, participating in external management meetings and investor calls, monitoring a portfolio of companies for significant developments, and ensuring adherence to key procedures and processes.

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree, with an advanced graduate degree and/or CFA designation considered a plus. The Analyst level requires 0-2 years of work experience in a financial analysis role within financial services or a rating agency, while the Senior Analyst level requires a minimum of two years of such experience. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel are essential. A strong interest and/or relevant experience in ratings and/or financial sector transactions is preferred. Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $95,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
