Cost Controller (Brussels)
BESIX Group, a leading multidisciplinary Belgian company active in construction, real estate development, and concessions, is seeking a Cost Controller to join their Finance Department in Brussels. This role involves collaborating with the Business Enablers team to manage and oversee financial operations, ensuring alignment with the company's financial objectives.
The Cost Controller will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and updating budgets and forecasts for the Business Enablers departments. Key duties include tracking and analyzing expenses, initiating and agreeing on back charges or invoicing to subsidiaries and projects, and providing comprehensive cost and revenue reports with variance analysis. Additionally, the role involves identifying cost-saving opportunities and proposing corrective actions to optimize financial performance.
Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with at least one year of experience in cost control, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in technology-driven environments. Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is mandatory. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel, and effective communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
