This role centers on managing regulatory risk, advising on international legislative developments, and providing day-to-day legal support for cross-border business activity. Responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting new regulations, working closely with government affairs and policy teams, and partnering with corporate and business stakeholders to ensure compliance and enable operational goals. The Counsel will draft, negotiate, and review agreements, prepare legal risk assessments, and support Roblox's compliance obligations in areas such as digital content, privacy, payments, and online safety.
The ideal candidate will possess a J.D. or international equivalent, active bar membership, and significant legal experience in regulatory or international environments, ideally with technology, internet, or digital content companies. Strong understanding of Latin American regulatory frameworks, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to independently prioritize and drive projects are critical. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly preferred, along with demonstrated experience navigating complex cross-jurisdictional legal matters.
