Crimmigration Attorney

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking a dedicated Crimmigration Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in both criminal and immigration law within a premier law firm known for its commitment to client advocacy and professional growth.

The Crimmigration Attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload that includes post-conviction relief cases such as motions to vacate, expungements, motions to reduce, and early termination of probation. The attorney will advise clients on their legal rights, draft pertinent legal documents, attend motion hearings, and handle open criminal cases including arraignments, pre-trials, pleas, and sentencing. Collaboration with our Post Conviction Relief Team of attorneys and legal assistants is essential to ensure comprehensive client representation.

Candidates should possess experience in criminal defense or immigration law, with a preference for those who have handled criminal cases at the state and local levels. While experience in immigration law is highly desirable, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will be a team player, open to strategizing and working collaboratively with fellow associates. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to manage a caseload effectively are essential.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
