Customer Success Manager
The Customer Success Manager at Conga is responsible for managing a portfolio of global, complex customers who utilize Conga's solutions to enhance their revenue operations. This role involves performing detailed adoption analyses, engaging customers in joint planning to increase product adoption, and leading value realization activities such as stakeholder alignment and roadmap reviews. The position reports to the Director of Customer Success and is based in Germany, with a preference for candidates in Frankfurt, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, or Munich. The role requires approximately 10% travel, primarily within the DACH region, and fluency in both English and German at a native or C2 level.
Key responsibilities include driving customer adoption of Conga products, identifying opportunities for expansion, mitigating risks through cross-functional collaboration, and improving customer health and sentiment to ensure successful and growing renewals. The Customer Success Manager acts as the customer's advocate, facilitating conversations and driving outcomes that benefit both the customer and Conga. This involves ensuring technical issues are resolved promptly and efficiently by coordinating with internal Conga teams.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing and growing customer relationships in large enterprise or strategic accounts, with 3-5 years of experience in a customer success role. Strong project management or consulting experience is essential, as the role requires driving customers forward, tracking their goals, navigating challenges, and strategizing about their future state. A strong technical background and acumen, particularly in revenue management and/or contract management software solutions, is also important. Excellent analytical skills, communication and interpersonal abilities, leadership and teamwork experience, and a proactive problem-solving mindset are critical for success in this role.
