Data Analyst Intern

Appier is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join its product R&D team in Taipei, Taiwan. This role involves performing data analysis to assist various teams in addressing business and operational questions. The internship requires a commitment of 2-3 days per week for a minimum of six months, starting immediately.

The intern will interpret trends and patterns from complex data sets using statistical and visualization tools. Responsibilities include conducting data analysis reports to illustrate results and insights, collaborating with scientists and engineers to monitor and diagnose systems, and developing tools and systems to optimize analysis process efficiency and report quality.

Candidates should be senior college students or graduate students in related fields. Required skills include strong analytical abilities to extract meaningful insights from data, proficiency in communicating data analysis insights to diverse audiences, and proficient oral and written communication skills in English. Technical skills should encompass statistics knowledge, SQL for basic data extraction and aggregation, and proficiency in Spreadsheet/Excel. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and basic experience with machine learning tools, as well as the ability to write Python scripts for simple job automation, are also necessary.

Preferred qualifications include working experience in digital advertising industries, hands-on experience with analytic/visualization tools such as SQL, R, and Tableau, advanced Python programming skills for complex analysis, and experience in writing Spark programs for data analysis.
