Data Analyst (Position located in Sao Paulo, Brazil)

As a Data Analyst at KnowBe4's Threat Labs in São Paulo, Brazil, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing real-world email-based cyber threats. Working within a collaborative environment alongside experienced security researchers, your insights will directly contribute to enhancing global cybersecurity measures.

Your primary responsibilities will include investigating and classifying suspicious emails to identify phishing, malware, and social engineering attacks. You'll extract and document Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) such as URLs, domains, and file hashes, and monitor ongoing threat campaigns, mapping attacker tactics to frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK. Additionally, you'll contribute to internal threat intelligence datasets and research documentation.

Candidates should possess 1-2 years of experience in the field and an understanding of common cybersecurity threats, including domain spoofing and spear-phishing. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus during repetitive analytical tasks are essential. Experience handling large datasets is also required. A university degree is not mandatory; individuals with vocational IT training, technical diplomas, relevant certifications, or strong digital literacy are encouraged to apply.
