Data Analytics Team Lead
Incode Technologies is seeking a Data Analytics Team Lead to join their Document Intelligence team in Serbia. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining Incode's advanced document processing technology, which parses identity documents from around the world for major enterprises. The role offers an opportunity to lead a growing team while remaining actively involved in hands-on analytics work.
As the Data Analytics Team Lead, you will oversee a small team of analysts, guiding their professional development and managing performance reviews. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing data pipelines using SQL and Python, expanding the metric tree to measure product quality across the document-processing pipeline, and creating reporting and dashboards to provide insights for machine learning, product, and leadership teams. Additionally, you will drive data preparation for machine learning, assess model quality, and lead A/B testing initiatives with statistical rigor.
Ideal candidates will have experience in team leadership combined with a strong desire to remain hands-on in analytics. Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential, along with a solid understanding of statistics and experimental design. Experience with modern data tools such as workflow orchestration, data transformation, cloud storage, and experiment-tracking is also required. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, translating data requirements into actionable tasks.
