As a Senior Backend Engineer at Incode, you will be part of a team of backend and DevOps experts, responsible for designing and implementing scalable, resilient backend services that power products used by millions of users. Your role will involve tackling complex engineering challenges, such as extracting services from a monolith, designing robust APIs, and managing data migrations, all while ensuring performance, stability, and maintainability.
Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing backend systems capable of supporting millions of active users, building and maintaining services from initial model design to production support, writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and implementing logging, monitoring, and tracing practices to ensure system health and reliability. You will also collaborate closely with DevOps, product managers, and other engineers to ensure smooth integrations and high-quality deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Java/Kotlin and the Spring framework ecosystem, strong understanding of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis, experience in designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs, and a strong analytical mindset for breaking down complex systems. Proficiency in English is required, and experience in identity verification or related fields is a plus.
