Data Operations Analyst

Numerix is seeking a Data Operations Analyst to support its SaaS clients by monitoring market data generation processes within the Numerix Data Management (NXDM) framework. This role is integral to ensuring the integrity and quality of market data, contributing directly to operational excellence and client satisfaction.

The Data Operations Analyst will define, implement, and execute standard operating procedures for clients' market data operations. Responsibilities include daily monitoring and verification of market data deliveries, enhancing existing processes through optimization and automation, responding to operational support requests, and resolving technical and data quality issues. The role also involves coordinating NXDM releases and production patch deployments, acting as Incident Manager for market data incidents, and assisting clients with API platform-related queries.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree from a leading engineering university or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in Python for data analysis and process automation is required, along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and preferably SQL. An understanding of exchange-traded and OTC derivatives across multiple asset classes, including interest rates, commodities, credit, equities, and foreign exchange, is essential. Familiarity with financial concepts such as volatility and beta, as well as working knowledge of cloud services like AWS, is advantageous. Strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent English communication skills are also necessary.
