Data Scientist, Analytics

Appier is seeking a Data Scientist to join our data science team in Taiwan. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Machine Learning Scientists, Engineers, and other product-related teams to perform data analytics that drive our product and business objectives. Appier is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance business decision-making, with a mission to turn AI into ROI by making software intelligent. Founded in 2012, Appier operates 17 offices across APAC, Europe, and the U.S., and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

As a Data Scientist, your primary responsibilities will include driving initiatives and experiments within our Ad Cloud product, such as improving the efficiency of delivering ads to end-users in real-time bidding scenarios. You will evaluate and define product and business metric frameworks, build key data sets and pipelines to support operational and exploratory analysis, and conduct data analysis reports to illustrate results and insights through dashboards and reports.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of industry experience in data analytics, with proficiency in writing efficient Python scripts for data analysis and job automation. A strong foundation in statistics and skills in using SQL for data extraction and aggregation are essential. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and experience with tools like Pandas or PySpark are required. Excellent analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from data and the ability to communicate these insights effectively to diverse audiences are crucial. Proficient oral and written communication skills in English are also necessary.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the digital advertising industry.
