Data Scientist II

Garner Health is seeking a Data Scientist II to join its Health Intelligence team in New York City. This role involves collaborating with clinical researchers, data scientists, and data engineers to enhance provider data insights, directly impacting member recommendations and provider-facing data products.

Key responsibilities include defining provider performance metrics, developing statistical models to evaluate provider behavior, building and maintaining data-driven algorithms, and designing scalable data pipelines for healthcare provider data. The Data Scientist II will also work cross-functionally with product, engineering, research, and operations teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of professional experience in data science, product analytics, or healthcare, with strong Python and SQL skills. They should demonstrate the ability to independently solve complex problems and deliver high-quality results to senior stakeholders. Experience in a rapidly evolving startup environment and a commitment to improving the U.S. healthcare system are also desired.

The target salary range for this position is $160,000 - $185,000, with eligibility for equity incentives and competitive benefits, including flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision plans, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, and Teladoc Health services.
