Data Services Specialist
The Data Services Specialist at Focus Partners Wealth is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of client information within the company's core operating systems. This role supports both BSW and BSP end clients by processing requests through Salesforce workflows, utilizing administrative tools, conducting data analysis, and providing clear explanations to advisors and end-users. As a key custodian of client data, the specialist ensures that data management aligns with the company's commitment to data integrity.
Key responsibilities include supporting team members in essential data services duties, analyzing and troubleshooting complex issues related to positions and portfolios, and effectively communicating solutions to advisory teams. The specialist is also tasked with analyzing processes to identify improvements, coordinating with relevant teams to establish effective communication channels, researching and reconciling data, and assisting with inbox tasks and quarterly reports. Additional duties involve classifying securities, providing expertise in data processing, overseeing Heldaway assets, performing advanced cost basis functions, conducting regular audits to maintain data integrity, and managing workflows across various platforms.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or relevant experience in data management, preferably within the financial services industry. Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite is required, along with familiarity with tools such as Orion, custodian platforms, Salesforce, and other portfolio management tools. Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude towards continuous learning, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to engage with individuals of diverse backgrounds are essential. A proven history of punctuality and meeting deadlines is also important.
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be $50,000 - $60,000 per year. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is one component of the total compensation package, which may also include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
