Deal Desk Analyst (6 Month Fixed-Term)
Everlaw is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to join our Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations team for a six-month fixed-term during a high-growth period. In this critical role, you will help eliminate our current quoting backlog and provide expert support for increasingly complex deal structures. As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will act as a strategic bridge between Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal, ensuring your deals are scalable, reliable, and accurately provisioned without creating downstream billing issues.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing end-to-end quoting for new business, renewals, and complex amendments using Salesforce CPQ. You will act as the primary owner for the Salesforce and ZenDesk queue, managing the intake, triage, and escalation of all Quote-to-Cash requests. Additionally, you will reduce wait times and maintain high service standards by resolving tickets within defined service level agreements. Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance and Legal, you will navigate non-standard terms and identify system inefficiencies, assisting in standardizing deal workflows and systemizing the escalation process within Salesforce to improve transparency. Ensuring all deals adhere to established price books, discount thresholds, and Everlaw’s financial compliance standards is also a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations, including hands-on ownership of quoting for new business, renewals, and complex amendments. Advanced proficiency in Salesforce CPQ or a similar quoting tool is required, along with comfort in configuring products and bundles, applying price rules, and troubleshooting complex quote logic. Experience in balancing short-term sales velocity with long-term revenue integrity is essential, ensuring deals move quickly while adhering to pricing, discount, and compliance guardrails. Clear communication skills are necessary to articulate complex commercial concepts to diverse internal stakeholders, tailoring messages for Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and technical partners. A background in SaaS or Legal Tech environments and enjoyment in working cross-functionally with Go-To-Market teams to support scalable, reliable deal structures are also important. Attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of requests in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively and maintaining high accuracy across your queue, are crucial.
The expected hourly rate range for this role is between $52.88 and $67.30. The final offered hourly rate will be dependent upon many factors, including the candidate’s experience and skills. The role's compensation is subject to change in the future. Benefits include eligibility for health, dental, and vision plans, as well as paid company and federal holidays. Perks include working in Uptown Oakland, just steps from the BART line and dozens of restaurants, with flexible work-from-home days on Tuesdays and Fridays. Additional perks include monthly home internet reimbursement, choice of hardware (Mac or PC) with customizable desk setup, a wide variety of snacks and beverages in the Oakland office, company-wide events and team activities, time off for company-sponsored volunteer events, and learning and career development opportunities.
