This role involves collaborating closely with project and process teams under the guidance of the Project Manager or Operation Manager. The company specializes in developing, engineering, building, commissioning, operating, and maintaining projects in water, sustainable energy, and hydrogen infrastructure.

The Design Coordinator will oversee all design aspects of projects, including civil, electromechanical, and process components. Responsibilities encompass setting up and coordinating technical aspects across various disciplines, planning and monitoring design activities throughout project phases, and preparing essential diagrams such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Additionally, the role involves proposing basic layouts, coordinating between different installations, suggesting process-related equipment and instrumentation, and liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and design teams.

Candidates should possess a minimum of five years' experience in wastewater treatment, industrial water treatment, or potable water treatment plants, covering tendering, execution, and commissioning phases. A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineering is required. The role demands flexibility, the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Proficiency in English, Dutch, and French is essential, and the candidate should be willing to undertake short international trips.
