Design / Geotechnical Engineer

In collaboration with the Projects and Production departments, the Design/Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for conducting technical studies for commercial offers, providing innovative technical solutions to commercial teams, and assisting Project Managers with design-related inquiries, including risk and opportunity analyses. The role also involves supporting Project Managers in interactions with external partners such as architects, study offices, clients, and control organizations. Additionally, the engineer produces and supervises technical and economic optimization studies related to project execution, participates in startup meetings for highly technical sites, offers technical support to construction sites, and contributes to the development and optimization of method statements based on feedback from operational teams.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in geotechnical, civil, or industrial engineering and possesses a minimum of five years of experience in a structural or geotechnical design office. Proficiency in French is required, along with professional-level English skills. Key competencies include co-construction abilities, critical thinking, synthesis skills, result orientation, rigor, and creativity.
