DevOps Engineer
Lighthouse is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Distribution Insight team, a key component of our Enterprise division. This team focuses on providing data solutions to the world's largest hotel chains, helping them optimize distribution, monitor channels, and track performance to maximize revenue without increasing costs. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our innovative commercial platform that empowers businesses with actionable insights and advanced pricing tools.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, deploying, and maintaining SaaS and microservices architectures. Your day-to-day tasks will include cleaning, analyzing, and extracting datasets from external sources, ensuring data integrity and quality by extending our logging, monitoring, and outlier detection systems. Additionally, you will deploy, upgrade, and monitor applications in a reproducible and scalable manner, experiment with and improve our tech stack and infrastructure, and provide support to team members and other teams within the company.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience writing code, primarily in Python, and solid experience with SQL, particularly in an Oracle Database environment. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, and containerization technologies is essential. Proficiency with UNIX commands and environments is also required. We are looking for a forward-thinking builder who views AI as a core component of modern architecture, with a proven interest or experience in working with LLMs, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted coding tools to ship higher-quality code faster. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment are crucial. Fluency in professional English, both written and spoken, is necessary.
