Director, HRBP North West Europe
The Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP) North West Europe at Cytokinetics serves as the strategic HR leader for France, Benelux, the UK, and Ireland, supporting the company's inaugural EU commercial launch planned for 2026–2027. Reporting to the Head of HR, Europe, with a dotted line to the VP, GM France & Benelux, this role is pivotal in shaping and executing the comprehensive HR agenda for the region, ensuring organizational readiness, leadership capability, and cultural alignment as the business scales.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary HR partner for the North West Europe region, aligning HR strategies with European and global business objectives. The role involves partnering with senior business leaders to drive performance, organizational capability, and commercial launch readiness, providing strategic counsel during periods of growth and change. Additionally, the Director will lead workforce planning, organizational design, role creation, and headcount planning to support both near- and long-term business growth.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of progressive HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience with increasing scope, complexity, and leadership responsibility in France, with exposure to the UK. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred. Experience in the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry, particularly within a commercial environment, is strongly preferred. Proven success as a strategic HR partner in a build-out, scale-up, or first-market commercial launch environment is essential.
