Director, Packaging and Artwork Management
The Director of Packaging and Artwork Management at Cytokinetics will lead the development and execution of global artwork strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with the company's growth objectives. Reporting to the Vice President of External Manufacturing, this role is pivotal in establishing scalable and inspection-ready artwork capabilities to support global commercialization efforts.
Key responsibilities include defining and implementing a global artwork strategy, selecting and validating Artwork Management Systems (AMS), and integrating these systems with regulatory, quality, and enterprise resource planning platforms. The director will oversee the entire artwork lifecycle, from creation and review to approval and change control, ensuring efficient cross-functional workflows and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Additionally, the role involves managing rapid-response processes for safety-driven labeling updates and coordinating with external manufacturing partners to ensure production readiness.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have over ten years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging, labeling, and artwork management within a GMP environment. Demonstrated success in building artwork intake and tracking processes, implementing end-to-end artwork lifecycle management, and managing time-critical labeling updates is essential. Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to develop scalable processes, manage stakeholders effectively, and drive execution in resource-constrained settings, are also required.
