Director of SATCOM Product Management
Armada is seeking a Director of SATCOM Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of its satellite communications product suite. This role involves overseeing the roadmap for global network architecture, ensuring seamless communication across constellations and terrestrial nodes, and maintaining Armada's position as a resilient and connected platform.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing a multi-year roadmap for SATCOM products, integrating with major satellite networks to optimize performance, developing strategies for decentralized mesh networking, managing relationships with satellite operators and terminal manufacturers, creating pricing models and service-level agreements for global data backhaul, and collaborating with customers in defense, energy, and research sectors to meet their connectivity needs.
The ideal candidate must be a U.S. citizen with over 10 years of experience in product management, particularly in satellite communications, telecommunications, or large-scale networking infrastructure. Hands-on experience with high-capacity satellite constellations, deep knowledge of mesh networking protocols and software-defined networking, and a strong understanding of RF fundamentals and modern networking stacks are essential. A BS/MS in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
Compensation for this role ranges from $215,470 to $269,400 annually, with additional equity and subsidized benefits.
