Director of Security Risk & Trust

The Director of Security Risk & Trust at Klaviyo will lead the Security Trust & Risk (STAR) group within the Information Security department. This role is pivotal in enabling the company to take disciplined risks while bolstering customer trust. Klaviyo is a rapidly growing SaaS company that empowers creators to own their destiny by making first-party data accessible and actionable.

Key responsibilities include leading and developing the Trust team, overseeing compliance operations and audits for standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and managing programs like continuous control monitoring and security education. The role also involves driving cross-functional alignment to ensure Trust-related priorities are in sync with company-level goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams of individual contributors, a deep understanding of modern cloud-native web application architectures, and a background in executing compliance programs for various standards. Proficiency in governance, compliance, and trust programs, as well as strong alignment with Klaviyo’s core values, is essential.

Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary range of $140,000 to $210,000 USD, along with participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, equity, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits.
