Director of Solutions Architecture
The Director of Solutions Architecture at Diligent Corporation is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving new and expansion Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by effectively deploying Solutions Architecture (SA) talent on complex deals. This position ensures that the SA function accelerates the sales cycle, removing architectural friction and serving as a competitive differentiator. The Director collaborates closely with Sales leadership across regions to align SA capacity with pipeline strategy and maximize commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Sales leadership to align SA capacity with pipeline strategy, owning new and expansion ARR as a team outcome, managing the global SA team across Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, and holding direct accountability for Gross Dollar Retention (GDR) on large enterprise accounts. The Director is also responsible for building and maintaining consistent performance standards globally, developing the SA talent pipeline, and representing the SA function in executive-level conversations about pipeline health, delivery risk, retention performance, and talent gaps.
The ideal candidate possesses over 10 years of experience in enterprise SaaS pre-sales or solutions architecture, with at least 3 years managing a team of senior technical professionals across multiple geographies. Demonstrated accountability for GDR or retention outcomes is essential, along with a proven track record in building and developing high-performing technical teams globally. Strong collaboration skills with Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams are crucial, as is the ability to drive operational changes that lead to measurable commercial results.
