Senior Software Engineer
As a Senior Software Engineer at Diligent Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and enhancing applications and Windows-based systems. Diligent is a leader in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) SaaS solutions, serving over 1 million users and 700,000 board members worldwide. In this role, you will lead the design, architecture, and enhancement applications and Windows-based systems. Your responsibilities include driving technical initiatives from requirements gathering through production deployment on both on-premise and cloud infrastructures. You will make critical architectural decisions balancing performance, scalability, cost, and maintainability, optimize and maintain applications, Windows Server environments, and enterprise databases, debug and resolve complex production issues across the application stack, and establish engineering best practices, security patterns, and quality standards for enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of professional development experience with a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise systems. Strong expertise (C#) development and architecture is critical, along with deep experience with Windows Server administration, IIS, and on-premise application deployment. Proficiency in (Web Forms, MVC) Framework, advanced React and frontend architecture skills, extensive MSSQL and PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and performance tuning, a strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API design, mastery of software design patterns, clean code practices, and refactoring techniques, and strong AWS architecture experience are also required. Experience with Node.js, Python, and AI/ML frameworks is a plus.
