Director, Operations Strategy
Metropolis is seeking a Director of Operations Strategy to lead the optimization and execution systems that drive our global operations. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations Support & Strategy, this role serves as the bridge between strategic planning and on-the-ground execution, ensuring our field teams are equipped to achieve operational excellence.
The Director will oversee quarterly and annual operations planning cycles, translating company objectives into actionable targets and resource plans across field operations. Responsibilities include developing real-time dashboards and KPI frameworks to monitor operational health, creating advanced forecasting models to identify risks and opportunities, and leading process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency. This role also involves collaborating with regional leaders to scale successful strategies across markets and partnering with Product and Engineering teams to define tools that support operational scalability.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in strategy, business operations, management consulting, or analytics, with at least two years in a leadership role within a high-growth technology or marketplace company. Proficiency in Excel and SQL, along with experience in BI tools like Looker or Tableau, is essential. The role requires strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, and excellent communication abilities to convey complex analyses to senior stakeholders.
