Director & Senior Legal Counsel – Employment Law

Western Digital is seeking a Director & Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Employment Law to join its Legal team in Singapore. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support on employment matters across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, contributing to the company's mission of driving global innovation in data storage solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, revising, and advising on employment-related documents such as offer letters, separation agreements, confidentiality agreements, and compensation plans. They will provide guidance on performance management, support internal investigations, and manage cross-border employment issues. Additionally, the role includes overseeing employment-related litigation, monitoring legislative developments, and developing training programs on employment law topics.

Applicants should possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in top-tier law firms and in-house legal departments, with a specific focus on employment law in the APAC region. A law degree from an accredited institution and admission to practice in Singapore, or eligibility to register as In-House Counsel in Singapore, are required. Strong analytical skills, excellent English communication abilities, and experience in the technology industry are preferred.
