Director, Strategic Finance
The Director of Strategic Finance at Armada will lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support, collaborating with cross-functional leaders to drive the company's growth and long-term initiatives. This role reports to the head of strategic finance and is integral to shaping financial planning and performance insights within the organization.
Key responsibilities include partnering with business leaders to translate strategy into financial objectives, building scalable processes to enhance performance visibility, and driving long-range planning to support strategic priorities. The director will also prepare insightful narratives for senior leadership, provide data-driven analysis to inform complex business decisions, and develop financial models to support growth initiatives. Collaboration with Accounting, Operations, R&D, Product, and Go-To-Market teams is essential to influence key priorities and financial performance. Additionally, the role involves coaching and mentoring finance professionals, defining processes to ensure clarity and accountability, and leading special strategic finance projects.
Candidates should have over 10 years of progressive experience in strategic finance within startups, investment banking, or related finance functions. A proven ability to partner with business leaders and influence company-wide strategy is crucial. Exceptional financial modeling, analytical reasoning, presentation, and communication skills are required, along with a strong track record of managing ambiguity and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CPA/CFA preferred. Experience in early or growth-stage startups is essential, and familiarity with SaaS, hardware, or technology sectors is a plus.
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $159,600 to $249,780, depending on location and experience, along with equity options.
