Metropolis is seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to serve as a key architect of the company's long-term financial strategy. This role involves developing comprehensive three-statement financial models that underpin strategic decision-making and external fundraising efforts. The Director will collaborate directly with the executive team to translate complex operational initiatives into quantitative frameworks, guiding capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions valuation, and the company's multi-year trajectory.

Key responsibilities include building and continuously refining a fully integrated, dynamic three-statement financial model encompassing the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. The Director will execute real-time scenario planning and sensitivity analyses during executive meetings to assess the financial impacts of strategic decisions under various macroeconomic conditions. Additionally, they will lead the Long-Range Planning process, aligning daily business drivers, technological rollout timelines, and market expansion targets into a cohesive multi-year corporate roadmap. The role also involves partnering with Corporate Development during the early phases of mergers and acquisitions, constructing complex valuation models, and conducting thorough financial due diligence. Advising the CFO and CEO on capital structure optimization, evaluating debt and equity financing alternatives, and managing leverage targets are also critical aspects of the position.

The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategic finance. Mastery of advanced financial modeling, particularly integrated three-statement modeling, valuation modeling, and complex scenario analysis, is essential. The role requires exceptional ability to rapidly translate abstract strategic concepts into mathematical equations and logical analyses. Strong executive presence and communication skills are necessary, with a proven ability to engage effectively with founders, investors, lenders, and senior C-suite stakeholders.

Metropolis offers a competitive base salary ranging from $190,000 to $200,000 annually. The total compensation package may also include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a stock option plan, and bonus plans. The company values in-person collaboration and requires corporate team members to be on-site at least four days a week to foster innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the member experience.

Joining Metropolis means becoming part of a team of world-class product leaders and engineers dedicated to building technologies at the intersection of parking, mobility, and real estate. The company fosters an inclusive culture where every team member has a voice, and the best ideas prevail. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping and maintaining this culture as the organization continues to grow.
