Director, Supply Chain

The Director of Supply Chain will report to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and oversee procurement, inventory, and strategic sourcing within a complex supplier ecosystem. Key responsibilities include leading strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations to drive cost improvements and strengthen supplier relationships. The director will manage supplier performance, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate commitments. They will also be accountable for customer service outcomes through robust Material Requirements Planning (MRP) design and execution, aligning demand signals with sourcing and procurement plans. Additionally, the role involves developing inventory strategies that balance service levels, cash flow, and risk, while maintaining visibility and accountability for inventory exposure.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial supply chains, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles encompassing sourcing, planning, and inventory management. Proven expertise in MRP performance tied directly to service levels is essential. Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills are required, along with experience managing complex, global supplier ecosystems. A technical background, such as a degree in engineering and Lean experience, is preferred.
