Distinguished Engineer / Technical Fellow

As a Distinguished Engineer / Technical Fellow at Armada, you will serve as the primary architect of the company's long-term technical vision. Armada is a full-stack edge infrastructure company delivering compute, connectivity, and sovereign AI/ML solutions to some of the world's most remote locations. With deployments in over 60 countries and backing from top investors, Armada is at the forefront of bridging the digital divide for diverse industries.

In this role, you will lead the evolution of the Armada Edge Platform, ensuring seamless orchestration of compute and AI workloads across globally distributed, high-latency, and disconnected environments. You will drive architectural roadmaps for visionary initiatives, including adapting the Armada stack for orbital compute modules in Low Earth Orbit. Collaborating with strategic industry partners, you will co-design deep-tech solutions that expand Armada's product adoption and reach into new frontiers.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record as a senior technical leader in major infrastructure or AI companies. A deep understanding of data center operations, compute architectures (CPU/GPU/NPU), and AI infrastructure at scale is essential. Expertise in distributed systems, systems programming in languages like Go, C++, or Rust, and the ability to work across company lines to build collaborative technical solutions are also required.
