As a District Manager at Public Storage, you will oversee a portfolio of multi-unit locations, ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will recruit, motivate, and retain a dedicated team of hourly front-line employees. Your responsibilities include managing physical assets, overseeing maintenance systems, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. You will also address customer inquiries promptly and professionally, fostering a welcoming environment.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership in building and developing high-performing teams in a retail, service, hospitality, or related industry. A proven track record of top-tier performance, experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets, and exceptional communication and time management skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and a passion for sales and customer service excellence are also required.
Compensation includes a first-year annual total of $109,000, comprising base salary, guaranteed quarterly bonuses, and restricted stock units. Additional benefits include participation in the company stock program with quarterly dividends, comprehensive healthcare programs, a 401(k) plan with generous employer match, paid time off, and a Monday through Friday work schedule.
