Employment Law Attorney
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Employment Law Attorney to join our growing Employment Law department in our Irvine office. This role involves managing a substantial and complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, contributing to our mission of protecting the rights of individuals against powerful entities.
The attorney will handle cases from pre-litigation to litigation, primarily focusing on the pre-suit phase and assisting senior attorneys once claims proceed to litigation. Responsibilities include drafting and filing litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda. The role also involves guiding clients through the case process, interacting with expert witnesses, and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the State Bar Association. Experience with wage and hour claims is advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases, exhibit excellent client service and communication skills, and be a self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
Morgan & Morgan offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $500,000, along with an excellent benefits package for full-time employees.
