Employment Law Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Employment Law department in Los Angeles, California. This role is integral to our team, providing essential support in employment law litigation cases. The position requires in-office attendance five days per week, with no flexibility for hybrid or remote work.
The Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. Additional duties include organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices; interfacing with administrative agencies such as the EEOC; e-filing court documents in federal and state courts; preparing discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses; drafting and serving summons; coordinating depositions; and preparing deposition and hearing binders and exhibits.
Candidates should possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with at least two years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. General litigation experience, preferably in federal court, is required. Applicants must have applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, and be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
