Energy Market Analyst (Support)

The Energy Market Analyst (Support) role at Energy Exemplar involves providing technical support to clients utilizing the company's energy market simulation software platforms, PLEXOS and AURORA. The analyst will work within the Support Division, collaborating with a diverse client base to enhance their software experience. Energy Exemplar, founded in 1999, is a global leader in energy market simulation software, committed to empowering transformative energy decisions.

Key responsibilities include learning the software to an advanced level, providing technical support to customers, and tracking support cases from initiation to resolution. The analyst will work with clients to resolve issues related to both SaaS/Cloud offerings and desktop versions, collaborate with developers to ensure issues are addressed, and provide onsite and web-based training sessions. Additional duties involve maintaining and updating training materials, creating educational content, and assisting in maintaining user documentation.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, another engineering discipline, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to research and learn new techniques. Excellent communication skills, including verbal, presentation, and technical writing abilities, are required. The role also demands a team player who can work independently when needed.
