Senior UX Designer

Energy Exemplar is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our Product Development team in Pune, India. As a leader in energy modeling and simulation software, we empower organizations worldwide to make transformative energy decisions. This role offers the opportunity to shape user experiences for our flagship products, including PLEXOS, Aurora, and Adapt2, in a dynamic and innovative environment.

In this position, you will own the end-to-end UX design process for complex, data-intensive features across our product suite. Your responsibilities will include applying UX heuristics to reduce cognitive load in dashboards and simulation builders, designing AI-native user experiences such as conversational interfaces and intelligent recommendations, and conducting user research with domain experts to inform design decisions. Additionally, you will define and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of UX design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design. Proficiency in Figma is essential. A deep understanding of UX heuristics and principles is required, along with hands-on experience in designing AI-native user experiences and complex data visualizations. Experience in the energy or power domain is a plus.
